New Years Resolutions

Okay so I have a few New Years Resolutions... I decided I would share them with anyone who even reads my blog lol.. I haven't blogged in a while. I have been uber busy with work and trying to keep the house clean while entertaining Addie! Its quite fun...not lol! I need to find myself a really good routine.. ANYWAY, off the subject back to the resolutions

1. I want to lose at least 25-30 pounds! We are eating better, and I am going to the gym after I get off work! I really like it, I can even take Addie, in part of the building they have a workout room for parents, you can take your kids with you, they have play equipment in the middle of the room. So no more using that excuse! She hasn't had to go with me yet, but if she does she has stuff to do!

2. Be better with our finances...pay off bills and save money better! I am having so much put into a savings account out of my paycheck...that's going to be our travel money when we get enough to even go home! I am thinking about keeping our account back home, and having some much transferred into that account every pay period and getting rid of our debit cards for that account and leaving the checkbook at home for that account, that way we aren't so tempted to use it. That's a good way to save! But I want to be soo much better with bills and saving! So I am going to try my hardest! Getting things paid off in order to save is key!

3. Spending more family time together!! So important since its just us three here! At least go doing something together every Saturday and having dinner at the table again!! Get away from the Xbox..Computer..and T.V.! Family is way more important than any of those!! Theres soo much to do around here that we haven't done yet. Its about time we get our butts out there and do it!

4. Taking the dogs for a walk every night or every other night to get them out of the house.. I feel so bad for the dogs to go from 40 acres to a teency weency back yard and not being able to run around the neighborhood is a big change for them! They need to get out and enjoy the outdoors!! If it wasn't sooo dang windy here it would be alot easier lol. A cold day here really isn't all that cold unless the wind is blowing and then is friggin freezing!!! But we will have to just really bundle up and just do it!

So I think that is all! I am doing good so far with the working out part and eating a little better, I still need to work on that part! But starting this week its going to be a have to, because I joined at my work our own Biggest Loser competition! I think its soo much easier to lose weight when you are involved in something..well it is for me anyway :) Anyway this is the bathsuit I WILL look GrEaT in this summer! Isn't it super cute?! I really like it and I will have it this summer!

I can't wait! Anyway, so those are my New Years Resolutions! I am very confident in succeeding in them this year!

How its been :)

So I figured I would update my friends and family that read my blog on how things are going for us here in the lovely state of Idaho! Well Since Halloween not alot has gone on, lol we have pretty boring lives I guess you could say haha!

I made my very first Thanksgiving dinner, and as soon as I put the turkey in the oven, my mom and sister wanted to skype and that was hard, I held crying in, it was just soo wierd, more wierd than any other day we have been here, to be away from home on Thanksgiving! we talked to them for a while and then when we were done skyping with them scottie's whole family decided to get on skype, Scott, Tracy, Richie, Liz, Grandma, Kacie, and little Blayre ( I miss my Blayre) and they said "Happy Thanksgiving, we miss you guys today" and I just couldn't hold it in anymore, I just got up and walked away. Its great finally being on our own and doing our own thing, making up our own tradition..but it was soo wierd this year to not be home for thanksgiving! I think its going to be even more wierd this christmas! I LOVE skype, so even though we aren't physically there, we can still see everyone and Addie can open her presents on skype in front of who ever got them for her :) We will prolly be on skype alot xmas day!

So it has been snowing quite a bit lately! It snowed last week and we got like 3 inches and then it snowed again the night before last and pretty much all day yesterday and we got another 7 inches of snow! 10 inches of snow, its freakin crazy! But I absolutely love it, Addie is kinda being a party pooper when it comes to playing in it though! I am going to make her today though, I have to shovel the sidewalk in front of our house and I am going to shovel it into our yard :) and its just a little yard!

I forgot to tell you all about the Bruneau Sand Dunes, they were soo much fun! and the canyons down that way are really pretty also! We decided to conquer the tallest one there lol...whcih wasn't very smart with Addie and both dogs! But it was alot of fun and hilarious to go back down! Addie got really scared at the top, the dogs were going crazy and she thought they were going to knock her down, if she only knew it would hurt and we could catch her sooo fast lol, its sand! It was so much fun though! Scottie decided to run down it once we were ready to go back down and it was freakin hilarious.

We just had a really fun, much needed family day that day!!

Anyway, I have more pics from that day, but this blog is becoming quite long :) We have had a really good time here so far!! It has been great and we can't wait to explore more! We love the outdoors and it definately helps that Addie also loves to be outdoors:) not to mention a couple good friends we have met here! I will be posting again real soon!

Halloween 2010

So I decided to start this oh so cute blog off with the cutest picture EVER!! She looked absolutely adorable tonight and had so much fun going from house to house and getting candy!! She actually didn't get to much, we just went to a couple neighborhoods! But it was definately ENOUGH candy! So if you can't tell Addie is a White Pixie! and if you ask me..she makes one beautiful Pixie :)

We are just getting ready to leave.. We actually waited for like an hour after I got her ready because we walked outside and saw absolutely NO kids walking around yet! But she didn't mind because we walked down to the neighbors house because I believe Addie is trying to make friends with her. Its so cute, we walked down there and the little girl was like..oh my gosh you look so cute, and Addie just smiled at her. It was uber cute! Anyway I am glad she is finding friends..when she rides her bike she is always looking up and down are street for kids to go talk to.

I love my baby girl, she definately has a mind of her own..but one thing I noticed tonight is that she is polite when it comes to other kids! If she would walk up to someones house with a small group of people she would stand beside them and let them go first. It was really cute!

Settling in Mountain Home.. What an Adventure!!!

Okay everyone just to give you a little update!!!



We made it to Idaho about a week and half ago and it has been soo great and soo wierd at the same time... So great in the fact that we are doing amazing and they ended up putting us in a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 2 car garage house and I get to live in it with my Amazing husband, our wonderful daughter and our 2 crazy annoying pain in the butt dogs!!! I don't have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to go visit him, he just comes home from work at 3:30 4:00 O'Clock and there he is.. I see him leave and get goodbye kisses in the morning and I get to fall asleep next to him and get goodnight kisses... I don't have to wait weeks just to get that! We get to have family dinners and have movie nights together, which have been alot lately because we don't have are dishnetwork hooked up yet, so movies is all we have! But its not to bad, we take turns...well kinda haha...Scottie picks out his movies for like 3 nights in a row and then I pick a movie and Addie gets to pick a movie. so its almost like we take turns..just him more than us.. which is fine because I almost cant stand to sit through a movie when there is stuff to be done here at our new house!!!



Addie is sooo glad to be out of the car, but now everytime we get in the car she thinks its going to be for days again and she is like mom how many more..because I would should her each day on my hands how many more hours we had on the road that day.. so we get in the car to drive over to the commisary..2 minutes away and she is like mom how many more, or we get in the car to drive over to the laundromat, or to her new daycare which both is like 2 minutes away lol.. and she is like mom how many more! I am like there is no more how many more..we are here, we are in our new house, we aren't going to be on the road for a whole day for a while!! So she is getting used to that. considering we were on the road for 3.5 days she did really good!!!!



Ok but here go...part of this amazing adventure that has been started since March when he left for Basic! I can't believe it..we are actually in Idaho, we are actually living in a house, we are actually living on our own and having to depend on each other and its just all sooo wierd! It really is a good feeling to be on our own and doing our own thing, working together as a family...its awesome. We are doing good!!



Okay, so the wierd part..We don't have our families here! It would have been so awesome to have them over here at our new house and helping me unpack.. no housing warming party.lol not that I wanted presents or whatever you do for a house warming party...just to have my family come over after getting everything set up so I could take them through the house and show them everything...Addie is so excited for her memaw and pepaw and her nina and pepaw to come visit! she can't wait for them to come and see her room and her bathroom that has a toilet of her own lol.. it was so cute. anyway, but it would have been nice I was going through pictures as I was unpacking and it would have been nice to have someone there to show them the pictures who actually cared...and I could say do you remember this.. But ya know thats okay, thats part of being a military family, and its something that we will all get used to!! Waiting 3,4,5 months before family gets to see our new house and where we live..Thats okay, it all comes with being part of a military family!!!
